Recognition Policy


Maine School Administrative District No. 31


        1.    A letter of appreciation/acknowledgement will be sent to employees who are leaving voluntarily.

        2. Those Employees serving ten (10) years or more will receive a letter of appreciation and a plaque.

        3. An employee retiring after twenty (20) years or retiring with special consideration will receive a gift not to exceed $75.00.

        4. Board members leaving after serving a full three (3) years will receive their name on a plaque in the library and a letter.

        5. Board members serving a term of less then three (3) years will receive a letter of appreciation.

        6. Employees and/or Board members who lose an immediate family member will receive a donation to the charity of their choice
            in the amount of $50.00.
