EVALUATION OF ADMINISTRATIVE STAFF

The Superintendent shall implement and supervise an evaluation system for all administrative personnel. The superintendent will follow state statute guidelines to recommend future employment of an administrator to the Board of Directors.

Formal evaluations shall be made once a year, and multiple reviews will be done during the first two years in an administrative capacity. Evaluations will follow the guidelines outlined in the board approved AOS 43 Supervision/Evaluation Plan. They shall also be conducted according to the following guidelines:

    1. Evaluative criteria for each position shall be in written form and made permanently available to the administrator;

    2. Evaluations shall be made by the Superintendent, Assistant Superintendent, or immediate supervisor;

    3. Results of the evaluations shall be put in writing and shall be discussed with the administrator;

    4. The administrator being evaluated will have the right to attach a memorandum to the written evaluation; and

    5. Results of all evaluations shall be kept in confidential personnel files maintained at the Superintendent's office.
