TUESDAY, OCTOBER 3 – NWEA Testing begins
· Girls Soccer at Central today. Bus departs at 2:15. Game time is 4:00.
JV Scrimmage after.
· Student Council will meet during homeroom today in Mrs. Fitzsimmons’ room.
WEDNESDAY, OCTOBER 4
· Last day for NWEA testing.
THURSDAY, OCTOBER 5
· Boys Soccer at Lee Academy on Thursday, October 5. Bus departs at 2:30.
· Flu vaccination forms are due back to the office on Thursday, October 5.
FRIDAY, OCTOBER 6
· No school for students on Friday, October 6 due to the Teacher’s Workshop.
· PV Girls soccer at HOME vs Narraguagus at 11:00.
SATURDAY, OCTOBER 7
· PV Boys soccer at Machias on Saturday, October 7. Bus departs at 9:45. Game time is 1:00.
THURSDAY, OCTOBER 14
· National Honor Society will meet during homeroom on Thursday, Oct. 14 in the cafeteria.
TUESDAY, OCTOBER 17
· Picture Retake Day is Tuesday, October 17.
FRIDAY, OCTOBER 27
· There will be a flu vaccine clinic here on Friday, October 27.

The State of Maine Department of Education and Maine CDC updated the Standard Operating Procedures for how schools respond to COVID-19 on December 30, 2021
UPDATED COVID-19 Standard Operation Procedures Fact Sheet
Students and staff will not be required to quarantine from school or school sponsored events following exposures to COVID-19 due to mandatory universal masking at school
Exposures outside or on buses will no longer be deemed close contact
The school will notify the guardian the student resides with via email when a student is determined to be a close contact at school
A student or staff with COVID-19 may return to school after 5 days of isolation as long as they:
Are symptom free/ experiencing a reduction of symptoms; and
Have been fever free for at least 24 hours without fever reducing medications
Remote learning will be available to students that are required to isolate due to being COVID-19 positive as determined by the building principal or school nurse.
