For the third year in a row, the HMS Boys will be playing for a title in the Penquis League Basketball Championship Game! The Cougars won it all in 2023/24, and finished as the runner-up last year in 24/25. After going 10-2 during the regular season, the boys lost only to Millinocket twice, and finished second in the standings. On Wednesday, they had a back and forth game in Howland against Penquis, and eventually came out on top 32-29. The Boy's Championship game will be held at Penquis High school in Milo at 2:00 pm (after the conclusion of the HMS girls game vs Penquis), and will be facing off against undefeated Millinocket. Let's show some community spirit and attend the game to support our hometown athletes who have worked extremely hard! Admission costs are $4 for adults and $2 for students and Senior Citizens, and concessions will be sold. Best of luck boys!
