Congratulations to the Lady Howler Softball team, as for the 3rd straight year they are heading to the State Championship. The game will be held at St. Joseph's College in Standish Maine (278 Whites Bridge Road) at 4:00 on Saturday (6/20). They will face North Yarmouth Academy.
After falling behind 2-0 to Katahdin Tuesday, Abby Farley came to bat in the bottom of the 3rd inning with 2 runners on. She ripped a line drive to right-center field that made it's way to the fence, while both runners and Abby crossed the plate, which ended up being the winning run. PVHS tacked on two more as the game went on, and held on to win 5-2. Pitcher Lauren Veino had another strong performance in the pitching circle.
