Notice to Families and Staff: Water Main Leak and Repairs

We want to make families and staff aware that we recently identified a leak in the water main coming into the middle school. After evaluating the situation, a plumber determined that the leak is small and does not pose any danger to students or staff.

The area of lawn outside of the multipurpose room is quite wet as a result of the leak, which is why caution tape has been placed around that section of the grounds. We ask everyone to please avoid the taped off area.

Repairs to the water main are scheduled to take place in the coming weeks. In the meantime, the school remains fully operational and safe for students and staff.

Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.

This Spring Fling week, the PVHS Student Council is sponsoring a Rock-Paper-Scissors competition between students, administrators, and faculty. Challenges can only occur during homeroom, lunch, and passing time between classes, and challenges must be accepted. Each player starts the week with one beaded necklace, and a loss means handing all of your necklaces over to whoever beat you. At the end of the week, the class with the most necklaces gets points toward Spring Fling! Our students and staff had a lot of fun with this activity!

Mr. Yardley and Cadence Savage had the honor of attending the MPA Principal’s Award Luncheon on Saturday. Cadence joined other outstanding students from across the state, all recognized for their academic excellence and good citizenship.

It was a wonderful event filled with celebration and inspiration. While Cadence’s name wasn’t drawn for one of the scholarships, it didn’t take away from what a proud and memorable day it was. We at PVHS are so proud of her accomplishments and we are excited to see what the future holds for her!
