A reminder for anyone who may be playing a Fall Sport for PVHS or HMS to turn your completed GREEN HEALTH FORMS into your school's office THIS WEEK! With seasons starting 8/18 (PV) and 8/25 (HMS), it is extremely difficult to try and track these down in the summer. Thanks for your help! Mr. Durost

The 2024/25 Class C State Basketball Champion Lady Howlers accepted an invitation to the State Senate in Augusta by Senator Mike Tipping, to be recognized for their excellent achievements! Making the trip down were players Ellie Austin, Shay Ireland, Jessica Kondrup, Lila Cummings, Rylee Moulton, Abby Farley, Brooklynn Raymond, Charlotte Brochu, Nicole Solomon, Lilly Hallett, Paxtyn King, and coaches Nate Case and Alex Mooney. What an honor!

FALL SPORTS INFORMATION: A reminder anyone going into grades 6-12 that is interested in Soccer for the 2025/26 school year (or grades 5-12 for golf), Mrs. Batchelder at the HMS office will need a completed 25/26 "Green Health Packet" turned in, and a Physical Form (they're good for two years). I would strongly encourage getting this taken care of before school lets out for the summer, as it's hard to coordinate drop off times during summer hours. PV (High School) Soccer and Golf are scheduled to start on Monday August 18, and HMS (middle school) will begin on Monday August 25. Any questions contact Mr. Durost at jeremy.durost@sau31.org. Thanks! Mr. Durost

It was a busy day at Libby Field today, as the PVHS softball team defeated both Deer Isle 11-1 and Stearns 11-0 on a Memorial Day Double Header. The day also featured the Lady Howlers annual "Pink Game" in which they raised cancer awareness and money for the Reed Foundation. Junior Pitcher Lauren Veino reached a major milestone by recording her 500th career strikeout as well! Congratulations Lauren, and congratulations to the team as they improved to 9-0 on the season!

The students did a wonderful job helping during Community Day! Students were picking up trash around town, cleaning the ball fields, helping at the elementary school, performing at the nursing home, and cleaning up/painting at Morgan's Beach. It was a great day full of fun and community!
8th Grade Step Up Night tonight at 6 p.m. in the library! (Students going from grade 8 to grade 9 next year). Mr. Mitchell will be there to help students and parents understand the transition and help everyone get signed up for classes for next year!
Today's home PVHS softball game vs PCHS has been postponed due to the field conditions. Make up date TBD.
